My Review

It’s been a while since I’ve dived into a Nikki Sloane book, so when I see a new one coming out, about a HOT doctor, sign me up! What I didn’t expect was just how SMOKING this doctor was, and how amazing this story would be. Nikki always writes sexy and erotic words that have you wiggling in your chair, but this one was beyond what I even expect out of her writing. It was such a quick read for me as I couldn’t put it down and devoured every word.

In The Doctor we meet Preston and Cassidy. Dating for 3 years, on the verge of a break up, Cassidy decides to take the last step and break it off with Preston. What she doesn’t expect to happen is to fall so quickly for his dad. Yes! You heard me right, the smoking hot and dominate Dr. Lowe himself. The chemistry between them is undeniable and despite their age difference, they just simply work. The passion is there, they seem to know what the other wants and as they push boundaries they just fall deeper. Deeper into this tangled mess they shouldn’t want but can’t back away from. From the time this book takes off it keeps a steady pace in its entirety and we don’t get a HUGE amount of angst, but enough to put us on edge.

This book was just what I was wanting from Nikki and she delivered. It’s too bad she didn’t deliver a fan to cool you off with as you read it as well! 😉

About the Author:
Nikki Sloane landed in graphic design after her careers as a waitress, a screenwriter, and a ballroom dance instructor fell through. For eight years she worked for a design firm in that extremely tall, black, and tiered building in Chicago that went through an unfortunate name change during her time there. Now she lives in Kentucky and manages a team of graphic artists. She is a member of the Romance Writers of America, is married with two sons, writes dirty books, and couldn’t be any happier.
