My Review

I haven’t come across a CD Reiss book I haven’t fallen immediately in love with, ever! This book was no exception to that. I fell so hard, so fast for the fire and passion ignited between Byron Crowne and Olivia Monroe. Their strong dominating personalities fought each other tooth and nail, until something changed, and Olivia found herself longing for the dominate side of Byron in the bedroom. What she had craved, he could give her. But at what cost. Their enemies-to-lovers tale is one that was truly unique to read, and had just the right amount of eroticism mixed in that this book jumped toward the top of my all time favorite CD Reiss books. He’s not emotionally available to her, but she’s willing to over-look that in order to achieve her end-game; a baby of her own! What should have only been one agreed to night, slowly unfolds into more than either of them bargained for. As emotions get involved and they journey into uncharted waters, who will come out on the other side unscathed and who could be lost forever. This book is passion and desire, erotic and scorching.

CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up she’s at the well hauling buckets.

Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.
