My Review
This book only being my 3rd by Aleatha Romig, I didn’t know what to expect. The other books I’ve read have been stand-alone and a very different style to them. This book packed so much angst into it, I don’t even know where to begin. The characters are well written, and the development of the character arcs is really building in this first installment. This being a 3-book series, I know she has a lot more in store for us with the twists and turns I saw in this one. Kader and Laurel are amazing characters and as everything has unfolded so far, I am left with more questions I am dying to get ahold of in the next installment. This book does end in a cliffhanger, but it’s well worth the read! Don’t wait til the whole series is out to begin this journey!
