*Review Blitz* THE WRIGHT MISTAKE by K.A. Linde

About The Wright Mistake

A new stand alone enemies-to-lovers romance by USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…

I spent six weeks screwing Austin Wright’s brains out and all I got was this broken heart.

He can’t be trusted. Not with my body or my heart. Yet, two years have passed and I still crave him like an addict needing a fix.

The last time we tried this, it nearly ruined me. I know I should run and never look back. But his dark haunted eyes and razor blade smile speak to my soul. His touch sets my body on fire. And we all know what happens when you light gasoline. Someone is bound to get burned.

A second chance might destroy us both.

Because everyone knows two wrongs don’t make a Wright.

My Review

Oh where to even begin. I am a huge fan of Kyla’s writing and have simply adored the Wright Brothers the past few months. I am so glad we get a book about Austin and he has easily made his way to the top of my favorite’s list! This book is packed with a lot of fun and flirty interactions, but also brings up a very serious topic in today’s society; addiction. Kyla has delivered a masterpiece with this one and I was simply in love with this story from cover to cover. There were moments I wasn’t sure where she was going with Austin and Julia’s story, and she of course added so much angst to this book I wasn’t sure how it would all play out. Needless to say, she didn’t disappoint and this one delivered a great story and also a great lesson in addiction and the affects it has on not only the person, but everyone around them. This book is light and fun, yet deep and emotional as well. It’s the perfect balance of everything I expect in a K.A. Linde book!
In The Wright Mistake we get bad boy alcoholic Austin’s story. He’s the black sheep of the family in that he has never seemed to be serious about his work, his life, or any relationships he’s had. That is until he meets Julia. This book is a second chance romance as they tried dating two years ago and failed terribly at it. But once Julia is single again and on the market, Austin begins to realize what a mistake he made letting her go. Their chemistry is spot on! They fight with such passion, and have sex with the same passion and aggression that they just work! They have their differences, but as things begin to fall into place, can Austin really continue on the path he’s on without anyone getting hurt? Julia has a secret or two she’s hiding as well, and when everything starts to unravel, could the Wright that has broken her heart really not hurt her again? This books delivers one hell of a story and presents a very important “moral of the story” moment in a way you really don’t see coming. Kyla has again delivered with the angst and made me binge this book in under 3 hours! I devoured it and loved every word of it!
