*I received an ARC copy of this title at my request and have provided my honest review*
I was given an ARC of the Kindle version of this book and the Audible version. Let me first say before my review, that the Audible version is where I started and the voices used really had a hard time pulling me into the story. About 50% into the book I gave up and walked away from it. I spent a time away from the title and then decided to go back but start from scratch with the Kindle version. I can say my perspective on this book was night and day, no comparison, when I read that version versus listening to it. This review is based on the book itself and not the audio.
After stepping back and giving this book a second chance, I can say I loved it! I am so glad there is a series and Eden has done it again with the Reckless Beat series. I love any and all Rockstar books where the Rockstar falls for a fan or an everyday person. I am always pulled into them being a fan of music myself. In Blind Attraction Alana is injured after attending a concert and goes temporarily blind. Her knight in shining armor there to take care of her and nurse her back to health is no other than their lead singer of Reckless Beat, Mitchell! From there the two kind of have a strange relationship. She has desires for him but is sheltered and scared. Not sure what to think about his behavior and his desire to take care of her. He is very much attracted to her since she is different from what he usually encounters backstage with fans. She has a past and he has to find a way to bring her out of her shell. She is guarded and not having her vision only adds to her insecurities, but once the two begin their journey, there is no stopping them. Seeing her grow as a woman and him leave behind his prior ways is always a fun read, and this first part of the series was no exception to that. With a few odd twists in there and a few fun supporting characters I hope Eden writes more about in the upcoming series books, this was a 4 star read for me! Lots of chemistry between these two with a lot of fun and flirty moments as well.

Eden Summers is a bestselling author of contemporary romance with a side of sizzle and sarcasm.

She lives in Australia with a young family who are well aware she’s circling the drain of insanity. Eden can’t resist alpha dominance, dark features and sarcasm in her fictional heroes and loves a strong heroine who knows when to bite her tongue but also serves retribution with a feminine smile on her face.
