Helen Hardt keeps building this series in a way that brings in even more heart and emotion than the last book. This is the third of this series, and I loved it even more than the first two!
In Possession we finally get Talon Steel’s story. His and Jade’s story is so raw and emotional that I feel like this is my favorite of the series yet. (I say that with each book and each time she surprises me on the next making it even better).
It is packed with so many different emotions I have had a hard time since finishing finding the right words to say about it. I don’t want to give anything away so I am limiting what I say here, but just let me say it will affect everyone in so many ways that it’s just a true work of art she has presented us with in this installment of the series.
There are so many things from the past that haunt us all, but Talon’s history is so heartbreaking it is material some people might not be able to deal with it. The romance is there and is spot on, as well as all the twists and unexpected moments I really didn’t see coming and had no way of predicting.
I can not wait to see what the next chapter will hold for the Steele Security series and I just KNOW that Helen won’t disappoint us.
