This is my first from this author that I have read and I wasn’t sure how I was going to like it going in at first. It is two novella’s put into one to make a good length novel about the story of Mark and Saturday. Initially my first thought was, the main characters name being “Saturday” was going to drive me crazy. The amount of times her name is actually spelled out instead of just saying “she” made me want to abandon ship pretty early on. Of course there is some back story there and I slowly realized that I might be able to push past it just to figure out the mysteriousness of Mark. Mark is a character, let me tell you. He has so much mystery about him and knows so much about Saturday its borderline stalker-ish. The character development was well played out and the chemistry between the two characters is just phenomenal once things start to happen. The story is full of passionate moments between the two main characters, but still brings so much mystery and confusion to it as well. Books full of passion and twists are so much fun to read, especially when you don’t see them coming. In Behind the Blindfold, I defiantly didn’t see things coming, especially toward the end. Great way of putting these two parts together to create a page turner I couldn’t put down.
