I was bought up in lovely Suffolk. My parents were avid readers so I was encouraged to read. My first job was as a ‘dog’s body’ on Queen Magazine. I loved fashion and writing so that seemed a perfect career. After having my children, I completed a writing course and went on to have 10 novels published. Alongside writing I am a film extra, meeting fascinating people. Once ‘in costume’ they lose their inhibitions and let slip amazing stories. Gold dust for a writer! I have 3 children and two grandsons, am a full time writer and live in London.
